Atmos is providing Lead Inspection/Risk Assessment (LIRA) and Clearance Sampling services at numerous locations throughout Virginia for the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development. Atmos’ Lead Based Paint Inspectors perform inspections and our Certified Risk Assessors conduct risk assessments to determine the existence of deteriorated paint, assess the extent, and causes of deterioration, and other potential lead-based paint hazards. We utilize X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), determine paint condition hazard ranking, conduct dust wipe sampling, and/or composite soil sampling in strict accordance with the EPA, HUD, and Virginia Lead Based Paint Activities Regulations.
