Atmos was contracted by GCS | Grunley to join their project delivery team to serve as regulatory compliance experts on the development of a 750-space parking garage, of which 120 spaces were dedicated electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The modern structure serves as temporary parking for the Entertainment Sports Arena (ESA) until the master plan is complete.
With an in-depth understanding of the District of Columbia’s requirements, the Atmos Compliance Team provided critical compliance management and consulting services during the construction phase, ensuring the client was apprised of CBE participation status. The team also ensured the project upheld Department of Employment Services (DOES) First Source Law requirements through meticulous monitoring and navigation of the intricacies of hourly workforce requirements for DC Journey Worker, Apprentice, Skilled Laborer, and Common Laborer Hours, as well as maintaining 35% DC Apprenticeship Hours (60% where applicable) and Apprenticeship Ratios, all contributed to the success of the project.
