Fort A.P. Hill Directorate of Public Works required the abatement and restoration of mold-impacted building materials in Building 179 to prepare the building to be utilized for temporary housing. As an 8(a) certified small business, Atmos was contracted to remove visibly mold-impacted building materials, repair and/or replace drywall affected by the abatement efforts, and repaint each dormitory unit within the building.

Atmos effectively addressed the mold issue in every unit of Building 179 at Fort A.P. Hill through a thorough and systematic approach. This involved first identifying and removing all existing mold, then meticulously repairing or replacing any damaged drywall. Each unit was then repainted to restore its appearance and ensure a clean and safe environment for the occupants.
